MSc in Architecture, PhD in Urban, Regional and Environmental Planning. Full Professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, Politecnico di Milano. Coordinator of the Bachelor’s programme in Urban Planning. Cities Environment Landscape at the School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering (AUIC), Politecnico di Milano. Member of the Board of the PhD Programme in Urban Planning, Design and Policy (UPDP), Scientific Director of the Lab_PPTE (Laboratory of Planning, Landscape, Territories and Ecosystems), and member of the Scientific Committee of Lab CCRR (Climate Change, Risks and Resilience Lab). From 2016 to 2023, he was Vice President of the National Institute of Urban Planning (INU) and currently serves on its National Executive Board. Since 2008, he has been Scientific Director and Coordinator of the Land Take Research Center (CRCS) and, since 2013, a member of the Editorial Board of Urbanistica journal.
