







Ece Ceylan Baba graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2004 and earned her master’s degree from Yeditepe University in 2006, followed by a PhD from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2009. Since 2021, she has been Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and, since 2024, Vice Rector at Yeditepe University. She teaches design studios and theory courses and continues her academic research in architectural utopias, high-rise construction, globalization, user participation, and urban psychology. Author of three books, including Architectural Utopias in Search of the Ideal City (2020) and Loft Architecture in Istanbul (2015), she has received international awards such as the Red Dot and IF Design Awards for her work in ceramic and porcelain tile design. A founding member of Ortak Akıl-Antakya, she actively contributes to professional and civil organizations, including Aura Istanbul and Türkiye İMSAD.
